Hummus, the most popular dip in the Middle East, is a “must” at every dinner and gathering where food is served. HUMMUS SPICE contains the perfect balance of garlic and lemon to give consistently delicious results every time. High in protein, Hummus makes a great snack with pita bread or fresh vegetables.   Drain garbanzos, reserving the bean juice. Place in a food processor or blender with 1/2 cup of the juice and process until smooth. Transfer the pureed beans to a bowl. Add the sesame tahini paste and JERUSALEM HUMMUS SPICE and mix well. If the Hummus is too stiff, add a little more bean juice or water. Spread on a shallow serving dish, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with paprika and garnish with chopped parsley. To add extra zip to your Hummus, substitute SPICE BAZAAR ETHIOPIAN BERBERE SPICE for the paprika. Hummus freezes well for up to 3 months, so prepare an extra batch for your next party or barbecue.
