Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a 9 x 13 inch baking pan with
non-stick spray.
Trim lamb shanks of excess fat. Pour canned beans into the baking pan.
Place shanks on top of the beans. Distribute onion and garlic slices
over the lamb shanks. Sprinkle with GREEK SALAD DRESSING BLEND
and chopped parsley. Pour crushed tomatoes over all. Cover tightly
and bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, until lamb is very tender. Add water as
needed to keep it from drying out.
The rich, flavorful sauce with the beans is excellent served over Orzo
with Feta or Syrian Rice.
