• 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp SPICE BAZAAR ATHENIAN GARDEN SPICE
  • 1 15 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 1 lb green beans, fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup water
Place oil, onion, garlic and ATHENIAN GARDEN SPICE in a medium saucepan and sauté over moderately high heat until onion is lightly browned. Add tomatoes, green beans and water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 20 to 30 minutes until beans are tender and sauce is thick. If you are using fresh green beans, cook 10 to 15 minutes longer, adding more water if necessary. Serve over Syrian Rice.
