Preheat broiler.

Heat oil in a large, deep frying pan. Add onion, garlic, green bell pepper and JERICHO FALAFEL SPICE. Sauté until onion is translucent. Add tomatoes and tomato sauce and cook 5 minutes, until tomatoes are soft. Add shrimp and cook just until shrimp begins to turn pink. Place in an ovenproof casserole. Sprinkle with feta. Place under broiler 2 to 3 minutes, until cheese melts and browns lightly.

Serve over Bulgur Pilaf or Syrian Rice.


  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 c Sliced Onion
  • 2 Cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 Medium Green Bell Pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp Jericho Falafel Spice
  • 2 Medium Ripe Tomatoes, Diced
  • 8 oz Tomato Sauce
  • 1 lb: Pound Uncooked Shrimp, Peeled and Deveined
  • 1/3 lb: Pound Feta Cheese, Crumbled (about 1 1/4 cups)
