Raita is the cooling cucumber sauce that is served with hot dishes in Indian restaurants.
Place the grated cucumber in a strainer and sprinkle with salt. Set the strainer in a bowl to drain for 30 minutes. Then gently press the cucumber to remove more water. Transfer to a bowl and stir in the yogurt, garlic and GARAM MASALA INDIAN BLEND.
- 1 Medium Cucumber, peeled and grated
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 c Yogurt
- 1 Clove Garlic, crushed
- 1 tsp Garam Masala Indian Blend
