These delicious vegetarian pies are equally good with the TANDOORI BOMBAY BLEND or the JORDANIAN ROAST LAMB SPICE.

Prepare Fatayer Dough and set aside to rise. While dough is rising, cook the potatoes in boiling water to cover until done. Drain and place in a bowl. Mix in the remaining filling ingredients. Set aside until dough is ready. Then proceed with directions for shaping and baking pies.


  • 1 recipe Fatayer Dough
  • 2 Medium Potatoes, scrubbed and diced
  • 16 oz Garbanzos, drained and coarsely chopped
  • 1 lb: Pound Medium Mushrooms, quartered
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 c diced Onion
  • 1 tbsp Jordanian Roast Lamb Spice or Tandoori Bombay Blend
