Mediterranean Black Bean Lavosh Swirls

Yield Makes 20 Swirls

Place the beans in a strainer and rinse well. Drain thoroughly. Transfer the beans to a food processor and add the parsley, cilantro, olive oil and JERUSALEM HUMMUS SPICE. Process until fairly smooth. Transfer to a medium bowl and stir in diced tomatoes and onions. Spread half of the mixture on a soft lavosh or flour tortilla to within 1 inch of the edge. Roll up tightly and wrap in plastic wrap. Repeat with the rest of the mixture. Refrigerate overnight. To serve, remove plastic wrap and slice the roll into 1/2 inch slices. Arrange on a platter and sprinkle with additional chopped parsley.


  • 15 oz Black Beans
  • 2 tbsp chopped Parsley

  • 2 pieces soft Lavosh or Flour Tortillas
