Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x13 inch baking pan with non-stick spray. Prepare the Tahini Sauce using 2 to 3 Tbsp more water to make a thin sauce. Set aside. Place ingredients from Kifta Kabobs recipe in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Press meat mixture evenly into baking pan. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and spread Tahini Sauce on top. Place under the broiler for 5 to 10 minutes, until lightly browned. Trim lamb of excess fat and place in a large saucepan with olive oil, onion, salt, pepper and MIDDLE BA H A R A T EASTERN BLEND. Sauté over moderately high heat, stirring frequently, until meat is browned. Add tomatoes and water.* Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 20 minutes until meat is half cooked. Add green beans and return to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, 20 to 30 minutes more, until beans and meat are tender. Serve over Syrian Rice (page 40). *If using fresh green beans, add them with the tomatoes and water.
