Rinse chicken and pat dry. Cut into strips and sprinkle with HELLENIC HERB BLEND and salt. Set aside. Heat butter or oil in a large shallow frying pan. Add onions and sauté until translucent. Add chicken and sauté over moderately high heat about 5 minutes, until chicken is cooked and lightly browned. Do not overcook, as chicken will become dry. Serve in pita bread with lettuce, tomato, onion and Yogurt-Sour Cream Dressing.

  • 1 lb: Pound boneless, skinless Chicken Breasts or thighs
  • 1 tbsp Hellenic Herb Blend

  • 1 Large Onion, sliced 1/4 inch thick
  • 2 c shredded Lettuce
  • 1 Tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 Red Onion, sliced
  • 1 c Yogurt-Sour Cream Dressing
  • 4 Pitas
