I had a bottle of this spice for some time, purchased in Phoenix, where I think Spice Bazaar was located. It was great to put on various food items. This is the same. If you like spicy and slight hot you will like this mix.

Using this spice blend makes me feel like lazy cook, and that's fine with me. People have asked for my green bean recipe, and how I make potatoes so tasty, and this is the secret. I've bought mitmita and berberi in Ethiopia, but this version is easy to use and delicious, as are most of Spice Bazaar's products.

I add onions and parsley to the ground meat. And then I bake it and then freeze what we do not eat for future use. Everyone's mama makes this differently, and this one is very good.

I recently ordered a cookbook on Amazon written by an Israeli chef. When I looked at the recipes, I found a recipe for a dish I loved. However, the prepared "mejedra," is a bit expensive, hard to find and I believe it MIGHT contain preservatives.
